Bikepacking

Traveling around South East Asia, you mostly meet backpacker’s. Not the traditional backpacker types, they wern’t living cheaply with only the bare essentials. These guys had everything (plus more) spending fat wads of cash as they buzzed around South East Asia as fast as possible. The locals confused me with these flashpackers, but I was far from this new wave of tourist as I carried everything I owned with me.

Meeting the Wrinklies

There is a dark cloud on the horizon. I quickly hone in on it, becoming engulfed in the billowing dust. Eventually I can just make out a camper van with British plates in the distance. Emerging from the dust I pull along side the front doors of the van. The driver stops the vehicle and winds the window down “You must be that crazy kiwi we heard about in Vladivostok!”
I raised my eyebrows and replied, “I guess I am, who have you been talking too?”
“We met Geoff and Allen from Poor Circulation, they told us all about you. We are Phi and Dorothy- the wrinkles on the run”
